how to get there from el nido centre? do you provide transport?

We can help you arrange transport through a 3rd party shuttle service, offering either shared or private transport at an additional cost. Shared van leaves from El Nido at 1 pm and returns to El Nido on your check-out at 11 am from the island.

If your travel schedule does not allow you to join our shared shuttle, we will happily assist you in arranging private transportation to the island. The price for a private shuttle (car and boat) for 2 people is PHP 1750 php, oneway.

We have 6 units of shared bathroom for the Hive Huts and Glamping Tent. We also have a room called Beach Bungalow with Sea View that has its own bathroom.

The bathrooms and toilets are located just behind our main structure, a short walk from our huts and tents. We have individual rooms to maintain your privacy while in use.

An unforgettable get away in a beautiful location, with amazing staff

The staff (Faith) were amazing - we had an issue with our next booking and she went out of her way to help us find a solution, even though it wasn't their issue. Food was great - varied menus that were always tasty.

There was honestly nothing that we didn't like (although there could have been more hammocks, as these are a great place to hang out during the hot part of the day).

Magical atmosphere!

Amazing location!! Beautiful beach for only the guests, the water is crystal clean and the scenery is magical. The staff is very friendly, our datu was comfy and clean, not to mention it’s interesting architectural look. The shower and toilet were also always clean, good water pressure and they have shower cream and shampoo.

Unfortunately our sensitive stomach couldn’t handle the authentic food and since outside food is prohibited, we were on a small diet whilst there. It caused problems later. Every meal looked great though, the really put the effort into it!

Amazing experience, disconnected from the world in an tribal yet luxurious facility with all comforts.

Stayed in a tent, perhaps they need a soft uograde as they can become extremely hot and humid.

A wonderful place to chill and enjoy beach life!

The bar-restaurant of the place is amazing: beautiful, well made, on a perfect spot, delicious food and drinks, you just don't want to move from it. There are tents and huts available. They are all very spacious and comfortable. The tents are not in the shade during the day so they get very hot and it's impossible to stay inside when it's sunny. The huts were really cool the whole day. The bathrooms where beautiful and super clean. The beach in front of the hotel is very nice too.

Just some details. There aren't except 2 hammocks no places to lay down either at the beach or at the bar (just places to sit). Also given the high price of the place I would have expected some simple things to be for free, for example the snorkeling equipment for which you have to pay and rent it. There is no wifi and no signal for the phone (we were aware of that). Smoking is only aloud in one specific table which (as a smoker) I found it exaggerating a bit given the fact that it's an open space. But because of that we met from the first hour really interesting people so for socializing it was a very very good thing :)

Such a special place!

The island is pure heaven! The food was great, there were plenty of activities to keep us entertained, the beds were very comfortable and all of the staff were super friendly.

Slightly pricey for food/ drink but we were expecting that, however, the quality of the food was superb so it balances it out. The thing that really let our few days at Dryft down was the lack of organisation upon our departure. When on the island before check out, the staff were very helpful, they advised we would be dropped at our next hotel and that this was included in the transport cost that we had paid. However, once back on land there seemed to be no order to anything, the drivers didn't seem to have a clue what was going on or who was going where, a large group of us waited for around 30 minutes whilst the drivers tried to arrange it amongst themselves. We ended up being dropped at Lio beach despite me showing the driver where we were staying as I had been advised to do by staff on the island, which meant we had to pay for an additional taxi. We may just have been unlucky on that day but if not, maybe the departure process could be made a bit smoother when on land.

Amazing stay - highly recommend

Amazing camp, the main restaurant was relaxed and comfortable and the food was delicious. The staff were amazing, knowing everyone by name. We stayed in a hut which I cannot recommend highly enough

Wow! Unforgettable stay at Darocotan island

- Amazing location! Crystal clear water, white sand beach and a great spot for snorkeling - Very kind and friendly staff - No plastic used in the camp - Breakfast was included and very tasty

- Water in the shower smelled a bit musty - Hive Huts were not really comfortable (the price difference to the tent is not really justified) - Beds quite small and too soft - Renting a paddle board is too expensive

Wow this place is insane. We stupidly didn't realise it was far from Coron town but it was the best mistake we could have made! This place is truely magical! We really felt like we were on a getaway and it was so relaxing. The bamboo architecture was unreal...we couldn't stop admiring all the little details and kept watching how one of the bungalows under construction was being made. Amazing!! The owners organised alternative transport for us because we weren't able to make either organised shuttle. It was very easy to deal with them and they were very helpful. The food and drinks were delicious!! Some of the best food we found in the Philippines. The snorkeling at the shipwreck was the best snorkeling we did on our whole trip. The shipwreck is just off the shore and is very small but jam-packed with marine life and extremely colourful! Equal to the Great Barrier Reef!! Would come back in a heartbeat, I miss it already. Thanks guys!
